When my father and I were going through my brother Mike’s belongings soon after he passed, we discovered a small, self-bound book containing 12 short stories he wrote during his sixth grade. These stories explore the origins of natural phenomena, seemingly influenced by First Nations legends.

Set in the streets of India, a young woman named Chayya, is on a mission to hunt down known killers and abusers. Along her journey, she meets an excommunicated forest guard. They align and join forces to fight back against a corrupt system. As they forge ahead, they discover an extremely dark history behind the powers that be. Within this sect, is an evil beyond anything that they could have ever imagined.
